Architectural Review Committee (ARC)

Approval for new construction, additions, fences, sheds, and other changes to your property.

Created by the founding Covenants, the Architectural Review Committee keeps building design in harmony with the physical character of Glacier View Meadows. All new construction, any change to a building’s footprint, and any lot development that alters the landscape must be reviewed by the ARC for consistency with the Covenants.

ARC review is required for site location, building materials and exterior finish, fences, dog runs, sheds, greenhouses, and in-home businesses including short-term rentals.

Documents & applications

The Association Manager is always glad to give you a quick introduction to the ARC rules in person. Call 970-493-6812, email PRAdmin@GlacierViewMeadows.com, or contact the office to arrange a time.

Meetings

  • When: second Wednesday of each month, 4:00 pm
  • Where: Mary Keller Community Room (lower level), GVM office, Gate 8 — 1417 Green Mountain Dr., Livermore, CO 80536

If you plan to attend, please let the office know so the committee can expect you.

How the committee works

The ARC is made up of community members who choose their own chair and meet publicly under standard Association rules. A Board member serves ex officio, and the Association Manager is a non-voting advisor. All ARC decisions are made by its members, who are all GVM property owners.

Applications are private: discussion and study happen in executive session. Votes to approve, conditionally approve, or deny are taken in the open meeting.
