Trash compactor

The trash compactor saves property owners a trip to the county landfill. The Association contracts with Republic Services for this service, and the bin is replaced every Thursday morning. The 2025–26 trash fee is $100 per property, per year.

Please follow the posted rules for what can and cannot go in the compactor. Prohibited items can bring a hefty fine — and could cost us this convenient service. Not sure? Email PRAdmin@GlacierViewMeadows.com or call 970-493-6812.

Recycling bin

The recycling bin is paid for by Larimer County at no cost to property owners. Sage Disposal services it and swaps the bin every other Friday. Please follow the posted guidelines — we don’t want to lose this free service.

Aluminum cans — Glacier Gals

The Glacier Gals recycle aluminum cans to raise money for the community. Their blue barrels are right next to the trash compactor. Aluminum cans only, please — and save your cans for them rather than putting them in the county bin.

Corrugated cardboard

Corrugated cardboard is not accepted in the recycling bin. Please take it to the Fort Collins Timberline Recycling Center when you’re in town. If you can’t, it may go in the trash compactor.

Slash piles

Wildfire mitigation and healthy forests require active management. The Association provides slash piles in open spaces around the community at various times during the year, at no charge. See the hours above, and the Ecology & Wildfire Resources page.
